Fifteen Upscale Halloween Photos

If you weren’t on the East Coast prepping for the Hurricane Sandy “frankenstorm” this weekend– and our thoughts are with you, northeast caterers– you may have been serving up some Halloween-themed items at this past weekend’s events. And sure, you can find photos of adorable spooky cupcakes galore on Pinterest, but we wanted to see what caterers were using to elevate their Halloween parties to a crazy-cool level.

More from the Australian Halloween event– dark macarons and house-made marshmallows bring the Halloween palette to a higher level. “Pineapple marshmallows, balsamic vinegar strawberry pate de fruit and black sesame & charcoal powder macaron with pumpkin and blue cheese filling.” Via Simon Food Favourites.

If you’re going for the gross-out factor, this bakery in London has plenty of disgusting ideas for you, like these bloody ear cookies. Click through for more, but not for the faint of heart.

Significantly less gross and a lot more fun, Executive Caterers in Mayfield Heights, Ohio shared their pumpkin guts mac and cheese.

Check out these super creative pumpkins from Duvall Catering and Event Design in Charleston, SC — nice work!

But you still want some spooky-cute cupcakes? How are these?
